I am buying a race ECM from IDS, (LAP is out of stock of ECMs and tips). Does anyone know where I can buy exhaust tips after I remove the secondary muffler?

You can take that secondary muffler to a decent performance muffler shop and they can copy the bends real easy on two pieces of stainless for the tips. Or if you aren't wanting to keep that stock secondary unit for returning the bike to stock form then the tips can be cut from them instead. I don't know if they are stainless though, so the cut ends may rust. These may be available also. http://ebutik.nccr.se/ebr-erik-buell...x-exhaust-tips

I have a pair of tips that I'm not using, make me an offer
I plan on just getting the race ECM and then cutting my own tips from some exhaust pipe I buy from a local parts store - use some high-temp black paint to finish. Not a huge amount of shiny bits on the bike, a good flat black finish would go with the remainder of the bike's aesthetics IMHO.
rx1190Kevin,
I sent you a pm for your exhaust tips, thanks.

NORMAL...muffler shops CANNOT duplicate the bends..! Normal muffler shops have bending equipment that crushes the inner portion of the tube.
If you want clean bends, you need "mandrel" bent tubes. If you go to header building shops, shops that build custom car exhaust systems, they should have good parts. I was lucky in that there's a shop near me that had three different bend diameters to choose from. Luckily, I brought the secondary muffler with me to match the bend radii.
Places like Borla, Spintech, Flowmaster, etc., should be able to provide what you need. Remember to get stainless steel tubes , or plan on getting the tubes ceramic coated to keep the rust at bey.
