    The author of the article used .45 for bsfc and I did a quick search and it seems like .45 is for optimal tuned engine. It might actually be a bit different for the rx though. I'll find the article later and post a link to it.

    It's not that it's just over a 100% VE but rather that the author says 115% is as good as you'll ever get out of a doch engine that's normally aspirated.

    It's just neat how finely tune the bikes come off the shelf.

    Personally, I'd take those numbers with the proverbial grain of salt.
    Might be "close" to 100% at one or two specific rpm's but would also need to be tuned MUCH better than the engines we get a hold of.
    Also I might agree to over 100% if the bikes air intake had a dose of cold air coming in equal to about 80mph.

    Don't forget the positive affect to of getting rid of the cat & getting the ignition timing right...
