Thats a fun time for sure! Bubbles and I went last year from Los Angeles. Missed an 1000/day Iron Butt pin by 12 miles. Just. Couldn't. Do. It. haha.

Yep, been there, done that 16-hour days in the saddle, rode my HD Lowrider ST their last time, broke it up in two days so it wasn't bad. Had the Motorhome follow us with extra bikes in the trailer.
One of my friends' dads is 76 he drove the motorhome, has 1999 HD RK, he will ride it around when we get there, but he's not up for the long runs.
Hope I'm still throwing a leg over when I'm 76.
Me too, That guys a rockstar. You know the lifers when you see them, right
We went because our friend turned 50 and she wanted to ride 'home' for Sturgis, on her Sportster nightster. Her husband followed in the RV with his Streetglide in the back. She had no windscreen, just a little backpack and an open V&H pipe. We rode long days every single day except one and then back in 2 days, and then straight to Buttonwillow for Race round 4 in 106* heat! Friggin LONG trip and my girl Bubbles still has forearm issues, lol.
Well, I’m still waiting for Hualbikes.com to deliver the Hammerhead, last word I received it was in Tulsa at their terminal waiting to move further west.
Even I'm excited :)
I'm with you all, I've been riding my Street Glide into work over the last couple of weeks, during the ride ive been trying to figure out exactly where I can do a wheelie on the Buell and not get a ticket. LOL.
I have a whole garage full of parts to bolt on once the bike gets here: 43T Sprocket, Tips and Race ECM, T Rex case protectors (but no Cooter rear axle sliders) tinted windscreen with red fasteners, Blue brake and clutch levers, Tail Tidy. I just can't leave s**t alone, Im sure there will be other bolt ons as well, hopefully the forum will allow me to upload pics.
Anyone have a review on Ted Porter's Beemer Shop, Tried to place an order for a Wildber Shock on the Wilber site , they directed to Ted Porter here in the US, sent them a RFP, waiting for a responce.
I haven't, I'm sure its just a UD dealer. It would be the same part either way. I got mine 'direct' through NCCR, they might like the biz?
I got mine though NCCR as well - it's just easier that way, they know the bike inside out.
