I think he's just reading my quote wrong and thinks I said there's 'no differences'. There are differences, they are just so minor it's not worth shopping for a specific year. IMO.

The starter o-ring (very early 2014) has been an issue for a few people (not me), and its just an o-ring change...
The 2 piece tail plastic (2014) was replaced with a one piece unit.
The 'shifter feature' was turned on in 2016, but also comes when you update your Dash and ECM through EBR.

BS like that stuff... Like I said, not worth shopping for a specific year. You do get bragging rights though! If its worth paying $18,594.34 for a 2019 title for the same bike my 2014 is...
