Cool. I'm waiting on my sbk tail to come in from hotbodies.
Is yours on a track bike? Mine is a dual duty street/track bike so I'm not quite 100% sure what iptions to take as far as the seat itself goes. I'll probably do two layers of increasing density foam with decreasing thickness beginning with open pore memory foam at the base. It should be just as comfortable as oem when I am done.
How was the install? I'm assuming it buckled up to the oem mount points correct?
I have a 5/8" pad I will be using since it is track only. There are no mounting points on the bike. I drilled at tapped directly into the subframe, and had to build up the inside of the tail piece at the mount locations, so they would sit on the subframe. It was not just a bolt on.
Interesting. That shouldn't be a problem for me. Do you have any pictures of your process?
What part of California are you in GJB? I'll be in the Sacramento area come June.
