    Super Cheap Brake Pads

Ebay has Sixity Front Brakes Pads for $16.55 shipping included. Holy cow for that price it is almost affordable to change pads every session. Anyone tried them?

Cheap pads are just that, cheap. My experience with over 35 years of automobile and motorsports experience is that those cheap pads are made of a really hard material and will chew up a rotor in no time. There are a good amount of choices out their for the EBR/Buell bikes, EBC, DP, sbs, Brembo, Ferodo, go with a proven product, don't skimp on brakes, tires, oil, oil filter, chains, sprockets or air filter.

Forget Ferodo . Dual sinter lasted 2 sessions, started to fragment .

Can we do a rating on pads from experience ....

Vesrah..expensive progressive bite , require lever pressure, resistent to heat and easy on rotors. 8/10

Brembo dual sinter.....good bite , heat resistant, wear quickly . 6/10

SBS 856ds ....agressive bite, require little lever pressure, handle heat well, destroy rotors and gall up when really hot. 8.5/10

Ferodo ds ...... poor feel, toast when to hot . 4/10

Std pads .....Ok , but wont last a track day 5/10

Bit of a disaster really , what else is out there and how do you rate ?

Still have DP Brakes, i have bought a couple of sets of race pads, but have no tried them yet, I really like the sbs 856ds race pads. I have the same rotor starting 3rd track season. I guess Barber, Road Atlanta, Little Tally and Jennings don't have much in the way of hard braking zones so rotor is holding up fine for me.
