What is the OEM coolant brand?

What did EBR use as their choice of coolant for our bikes? It is not published in the manual. Plus, I read where some tracks and/or track day organization rules require the use of only specific types of coolant. I'd rather not mix different types or brands of fluids if I can help it and I want to be track/rule compliant before a tech.

I would suspect amsoil antifreeze, im not 100% sure but i think all the fluids on EBR bikes are Amsoil.

If you are doing track days, you should only run pure water or water with water wetter.

If you have a coolant-down with ordinary anti-freeze, you are going to take out the entire field.

I didnt realize that Amsoil made antifreeze also. Their web site shows whey make both propylene glycol and ethylene glycol types of antifreezes, which doesn't help as to whick one is in the bike OEM. From sportbiketracktime.com. "Advanced and Intermediate group riders must use water, water wetter or a non-ethyl glycol based anti-freeze/coolant. Approved Poly Glycol brands are: Evans, 7th Gear, Liquid Performance, and Engine Ice. Automotive ethyl glycol based coolants are not allowed.". So the Amsoil should not to be used on track, even in novice class.

Anyone prefer one brand of bike antifreeze over the other, and why?

Don't use prop glycol on the track, either.

Because if you have a coolant-down, you will wipe out the whole field. Sure, prop-gly is better than the regular stuff, but it's still crazy slick. Water works better as a coolant and it's safer.

    Slick -

Wet your fingers with most any coolant, rub them together. It's VERY slippery..!

If it were me, just de-ionized or distilled bottled water. No other added goodies. There's a reason the FAA forbid the use of all the "salts" that are available, Water Wetter, et-al, in water cooled aircraft.

I'm about 90% sure that factory fill was Peak Global 50/50.
    Definitely wasn't an Amsoil product.
