    Torque Specs

Hey guys I'm just wondering if anyone knows some of the specs to tighten things back down on the bike. I'm on the left foot peg from changing the exhaust and since no service manuals (that I can find) exist I'm stuck puzzled. Don't wanna overtighten the screws as their aluminum. Thanks guys.

Just my experience talking here off the cuff, but throw some red loctite on it and about 40 ft lbs. I dont bother with torque specs unless it's engine internals - and after 20+ race bike builds, nothing has fallen off (knocks on wood)

The torque specs are given on the prints in the electronic service manual that AF1 sells for $40.00.

The button head screw that mounts the footpeg pivot block is 28-30 ft-lbs.

Thank you! The pivot block helps; HMF and Dean both gave me the OEM on the other 2 as 18-20 ft-lbs. All the help is appreciated, great to have assets like the forums especially on these!

Bought it and there's no Torque Specs included anywhere on that USB. Just torque sequences.. no OEM values whatsoever. And in a video it even says, Torque to specified amount, okay where is that?

Look in the Parts List section. Torque values are shown for each screw/bolt as req'd for each part shown in the drawings.

fyi....i just tried the link above........in the Categories section under "Service Manual Downloads", EBR is no longer listed. I realize it's an old thread, but I hadn't seen anyone mention it.
