Good read. To be quite honest, the Barracuda was nearly indistinguishable from the 1098/ 1199 in terms of the fairing design. Its abortion allowed Ducati to field those designs and claim to be fresh original and sexy when in the reality they actual were take offs on the Barracuda design elements. The 1190RS really has strong resemblances to the Ducati 999 which was a very functionally beautiful but polarizing design. The RX seems to have struck it own mark while clearly preserving its XB heritage. The original XBr's in black bikini fairings with the translucent amber rims are still some of the most gorgeous motorcycles ever. The RX at least to me in Galactic Black is simply stunning!
