They where only stock on the SX. R&G racing sells both, available from AF1.
I accidentally left out the word "why" in my original question. Do we know why the guards are not standard equipment on the RX?

My last three (maybe 4) bikes (over 100,000 each, not counting the S1000RR) didn't have these guards and I've had no problems. And since I don't run over squarels or rabbits, what good are they...really ? They don't do much for keeping gravel out of the fins...
More wasted weight.

If they didn't put a full set of guards on the SX, and one over the oil cooler on the RS, I might agree :)
