What do you mean by "plunger insert"? The actual master cylinder piston? The ZX-14 levers come complete.

The ASV brake lever comes with 2-3 different pieces that hit the brake light switch and the one labeled ZX636 is the one used on the EBR.

Terry, thanks for the link, I wasn't sure if all these worked, or if there were known fitment issues, especially for the brake lever.

Just a heads up from one of the aftermarket ones I bought.

Didn't come with any different plunger barrels, was just an aftermarket replacement. Wasn't quite right as when installed the brake was always activated. Pulled it off and returned it.

The ASV levers are probably better quality and correct fit.

A lot of the ebay levers will require a file or Dremel to get them to fit just right. That is why they are so cheap.

I ended up ordering these. I will update once received/installed. If anything, I'm close to Detroit, there are plenty of Zx14 guys here that somehow always need cheap levers..

I'd stick with the ASV. I have them & they are an exact fit. I'd go with them because they offer the correct barrel for each model. As with ebay you get what you pay for on this part.
