Agreed with the different distinguishers for the intended market, but based on the VIN breakdown from the owner's manual and no duplicate production numbers being posted here to date, I am of the belief that there is only one production number per bike regardless of market.Originally Posted by snacktoast
1190RX US VIN 0001 sits in Barber's museum. On the EBR 1190 Owners Group page on Facebook an owner in Germany (if I recall correctly) stated that his 1190RX is VIN 0001, but it would be 1190RX EU VIN 0001.
What puzzles me is the 0 for USA (All) and the 3 for USA 49 state...
There was a delay on approval for sale in California - remember reading about dealers in CA not having bikes available for a couple months.
This is likely the reason for a 49 state (not CA compliant) and a "USA" model designator, even though the bikes were exactly the same. Maybe a paperwork delay thanks to CARB?

Of the ones shown in this thread 2 are 49 state (jan/apr) and 1 50 state (mar).
#269 is also a 49 state then - EE300269. Strange that I never looked at the VIN in that much detail before... I learned something today!
Somebody on FB had the same production number as me. Theirs is a yellow bike in Florida, mine is red in California

I love it... More so then any other motorcycle I have owned or ridden. And I have never owned anything that I was completely satisfied with as is. The bike needs nothing. Can't think of a better endorsement.
