Not much being said here about Max Flinders in Superstock 1000. Crashed out in Race 1 at COTA, not able to get it all running for Race 2.
However, many pitched in to help (see Max Flinders Racing on Facebook), including AF1, who provided parts from floor stock. Thanks, Ed.
Presuming that Max is going on to Road Atlanta.

I wish they'd have told us about the cracked injector they had, we would have lent them a spare. The team was so thankful for us lending the air box lid. We were just happy to help, and wish it turned out better for the team. I did also get to meet Doug Polen in their pits too. I was a fan of his back in the day.
They posted on FB last night that they had to pull out of this weekend's races at Road Atlanta as they need parts they cannot get due to the EBR closure.
It just gets suckier and suckier...
Tim just posted on Badweb that they thought they were going to be able to get spares so they could race, but their sponsor said they would not support running the EBR given the closure announcement. They are looking now to see what they can do for the remainder of the season.
That's a damn shame. Kid has talent.
