We've been promoted from the Procup to Supercup 1000 class, which currently is the top superbike class in Holland.

Dutch rider Bertus Folkertsma with EBR on the rostrum (second) again in Dutch Twin Cup class
Today - 23 may - Bertus Folkertsma rode a consistent race in the Dutch Supercup 1000 class. Development of the machine is steadily progressing. There's a long way to go, but laptimes are dropping bit by bit.
In the integrated Twin Cup he finished second.

The team lost a tyre gamble at Assen last sunday. Starting from 4th on the grid, Bertus managed to come out of the first turn in front of the rest of the field, which was the plan. We chose slicks as we expected the small raindrops not to increase. Well, it did. Soon as the race started, the rain came down. After a few laps Bertus had to come in. Tyre switching was too late (race was already shortened). Well, that's racing. Upcoming saturday 6 June new opportunities.
Latest news also on http://facebook.com/racingteambertusfolkertsma You may need some online translation engine because it's in Dutch. If we get enough American likes, we'll start posting news in English too. :-)

Yeah, that's tough. "May the best weather prognosticator win."

Second again in Twin Cup class for Bertus Folkertsma

Today Bertus Folkertsma had some bad luck during practice sessions for the Dutch Supercup 1000 race, leaving him 31th on the grid. Nevertheless he managed to cut through the field during the race and finish 19th, while becoming second again in the integrated Twin Cup class, while improving his best lap time at Assen on the EBR with 0,5 sec.
