    I always figured the exhaust is sort of a built-in aftermarket pipe. Remove the secondary resonator and replace it with 2 tips on the main muffler, and you're good to go.

    It has to pass the noise emmsion tests, most sportbikes these days have "weird" or odd looking pipes.....

    good thing there will be aftermarket choices.
