For HP, they were pretty maxed out as a stock bike to begin with, there isn't much left on the table for HP upgrades, beyond the typical muffler/air filter/IDS tune, you'd be looking at stroker kits, turbos, NOS....

For that money I'd just buy an EBR1190.

The best way to make it 'handle better' by FAR is to go to your local track day. Once you get used to riding at speed, hook up with a local racer/instructor. You'll be stunned at the improvements you can make without buying little billet or carbon fiber parking lot show off bits and you will also know what the parts are to make actual improvements.
This is about 10 years ago. I bought it the day before. 100% stock and added an old dented Barkers I had on the shelf.

(OH man it's hard to look at that pic, my form is terrible! Haha)

As your speed comes up, you'll be improving tires, brake pads (EPFA/Brembo), brake fluid (Motul 660), fork springs and fluid, quick shifter, etc. I have never found a need for a steering damper, and carbon fiber won't save you any weight except from your wallet.

If you just want to look cool in a parking lot, thats fine too. There is a 9.2 Billion dollar industry (US in 2022) wrapped around that, and they will be happy to take your money for bits and bobs that won't get rid of your chicken strips by themselves:)

The range I live hear is my test track !
I've been riding it since I got my licence as a kid.
I ride it mostly at night when there's no traffic .The run up I see what's what with the road and the run down is usually a hoot , we have comms
So yea those velocity stacks and a quick shifter are my go to bits when I have the cash . Suspension testing is first up .One of my best mates here is a suspension tuning god ,he just retired so we'll work in his shed to find a good balanceClick image for larger version.

WTF happened there lol.My Harley as you can see won't tip in any more than it does I go thru foot pegs on it lol. I've jacked it up both ends , revalved the suspension, I like to run up high in the suspension use the valving , it goes OK for a HD scooter , it physically runs out of lean angle lol.
    Cheers man .
