fuel low light always on even when the fuel is low

I read about the earlier models having an issue with the low fuel light. I'm having the same issue. Filled it once and has since been on. Is there a known fix or is the module repairable?

If it's the same as the 1125's you should be able to replace the thermistor that's on the fuel pump assembly. Lots of talk on this subject but since it never happened to me (yet) I never searched it.

Not the same as an 1125. The 1190 has an actual float, it probably has become saturated and no longer floats. I don't recall who did it, but there were replacement floats, possibly made of stainless that worked.

Is the float inside that silver fuel filter looking thing on top? Looks like you did an upgrade of some kind.
    Spill da beans man;)
I hope to never have that problem, but this is a 'forever bike' for me

Yes the stainless pod goes up & down just like the EBR one, But it wont get gas logged ever like EBR float.

Is that module an 1125? That sensor would work on the EBR module? I don't know how similar the 1125/1190 modules are.

I have the first 2015 SX to be built. My low fuel light is stuck on. Does anybody know if the 2015's have those same over crimped connectors? Or maybe the foam float is just saturated?Name: fuel pump.jpg
