    Motorcycle.Com Names EBR Runner up for Sportbike of the Year

    The 1190RX was beat out by the a middle heavy weight for top sportbike honors for 2014. I can't say I agree with the choice for the winner, but based on their critera I guess I could live with that.

    Nice! When you think about all the bikes in this class - Triumph Daytona 675, MV Augusta F3, Yamaha R1, BMW S1000RR, Aprillia RSV4 etc. etc. etc., that's a pretty impressive honor.

    The test riders are different shapes and sizes, they list theirs in the road tests.
    They have a short amount of time to test bikes in lot of different environments.
    So I can see why quick electronic adjustability would be a big advantage to them. If one keeps the same bike for a while, and mostly rides it on the same roads, with the same weight of passenger, etc. quick ajustibility of suspension and power curve are pretty much moot.
