Lightbulb List of issues and fixes

    Hi,

While hanging out on the Facebook group, I noticed there's a lot of good information, but the way the FB groups work make it very hard to actually find things. So I decided to gather in one place all the issues I've been documenting in case they would happen to me, and put them in one place.

It's clearly a first draft and it's probably missing some issues and info about those that are below. Feel free to suggest changes/amendments to make that even more relevant. It'd be cool to be able to also add pictures at some point.

I think it's a great start! Thank you for compiling this as a reference to the several threads 'What year EBR should I buy?'

Seems like some of those aren't so much "common issues" as 'it happened one time and I went on facebook to complain about it' LOL.

The starter fix can be as simple as replacing the o-ring with one that fits. Mine is 2014 #24 and never had the issue. Honestly, I have had only ONE of these issues. YMMV.
Never heard of the fuel pump failing early?
The FP harness pin can just be bent back into shape
I have read about the dash, I would be wary of that part #. It is the cheapest (most go for $350) not sure what the differences are.
The best clutch fix is the Oberon slave, but EBR updated to lighter springs in 2015 so... options...
I had the original headlight get the white dust, and EBR sent me a new one (Rev D). It has white dust now too?
Never heard of the rear caliper, how ofter are people changing rear pads!?!
I don't know what people are doing to crack the tail, mines fine and I use it to support the bike on and off the paddock stand
Never heard of the wheel casting thing
    Never heard of the rotor
Never heard of the coolant tank (I know Herawans was busted, but the bike had fallen over on it).

Thanks again for the effort man!

I've added sources when relevant for each problem so it can be researched more easily - these aren't "one guy problem only", although I only linked to one post each time.

Fuel pump: There's been a few case from my research, both on forums and Facebook. Thankfully the Kemso fix is cheap vs a new fuel pump assembly ($600+)
Headlight: That's crazy! I wonder what does that?
Rear caliper: I ran into the issue and while sharing over Facebook, turns out I wasn't the only one. The replacement is bolt-on and fix the problem!
Tail: The cracks occur only on the plastic part - probably not the magnesium frame. The way I wrote probably was confusing, sorry about that!
Wheel casting: you may want to look at the picture clicking the source and then check your bike. I have the same thing on mine!
