    Introduction to the Forum

    Hey all,

Just thought I would introduce myself. I own the 2015 1190SX #72. I'm the third owner and bought it with roughly 3800 miles. Close to 7000 now. It has been modded with exhaust, programmer, 44t rear, levers, and a quick shift kit. Primary reason for joining the forum is to check out the trending problems with the bike, especially with those that have more miles on them, and start stockpiling the parts I will need in the future. I plan to keep it for the long haul (not expecting it to become a Britten but who knows where it will go). Looking forward to chatting with everyone and being a part of this community. Tried to upload photos of the bike but it won't go thru. I'll try to update the post with them.

    - Matt

I believe everything was done. Sadly, I am the third owner and the second owner was just some punk kid who didn't know anything about it.

What he means is that first scheduled valve adjustment is scheduled at 6200 miles according to the FSM. If you haven't done it, you need to have it done ASAP if you are at 7000 now. Not doing so can lead to catastrophic failure and it doesn't take long. The titanium valves in the EBRs stretch way faster than the steel valves they used in the 1125s. If you bought it at 3800 miles I would say that the odds of it being done previously are 1000/1.
