What Have you done to YOUR RX Today?

Trackday prep, pulled the mirrors and removed passenger pegs and tail/fender assembly for a 4.13lbs weight savings. All very stout units, I expected more. In the middle of fabbing up a carbon fiber exhaust hanger and tail plug. Techspec frame grips and AASolenoid resistor plug on order. Removing the noid and accessories should be good for close to another pound. Still on the fence about flush mount front turnsignals. Any suggestions?

Exhaust swap will net you a 17.5 lb savings, but you've seen that one already. Still waiting on info from EBR regarding the ecm.

Hi, I have a quick question. I'm new to the forum and am considering purchasing this motorcycle. I just need to know what kind of fasteners are on the bike. Does it require metric tools or standard? Thanks!

It's mostly metric. There are a few SAE fasteners left over from the Buell days, though.

Ok. Good to know I don't need to buy more tools for her. Are those left over fasteners on any critical components?

    The front caliper, for starters.

That said, in that specific case an 8mm drive will work because the diff between a typical 5/16 drive and an 8mm drive is not much. I've often found the 8mm drive to be a slightly better fit, honestly.

Dropped mine off at the dealer for some pretty serious warranty work. Lets hope it doesn't take too long.

Replaced headlamp assembly for some weird growth inside head lamp. Replaced rear tone ring and bolts. Bolts back out, rubbed bolts and tone ring on wheel speed sensor removing paint
