EBR really should have let Rotax keep assembling the motors, its what they do and have done reliably for a while. I would say this is a result of that.
Are you guys forgetting that debris is unavoidable (that's why there's filters), the debris is exactly where it's supposed to be, and it's just silicone? sure, cleaning it won't hurt anything, but leaving it there won't hurt anything either. There are are lots of bigger things to spend your time and money on. Like, go get a quickshifter! Haha.

EBRRider, Was that cover/filter tuff to get off?

Sounds like a good reason to get a APH or a Deans pipe, just to clean your screen ,LOL or take off your pipe ?
It can be removed without take stock can off but is tedious. Only reason to take off is because of oil drippage.
Those pipes are to loud for me. I'm in enough trouble with my Aprilia Tuono Akra & my EBR SX tips!!! Just kidding! All the people around here are to afraid of me to say anything! I'm just a crazy old man to them. LOVE IT!
