True story, they sound awesome from a distance no doubt and get lots of attention, but man they are loud. I really didn't mind it until I went on longer rides, I don't like to wear earplugs when I ride.

I agree. I like the sound, looks and total volume of the big tips on the stock muffler. It's really hard to justify those beautiful and light pipes when I don't like earplugs either. I'll put them in for a long ride, but a pita if I HAVE too:(
