I should be getting my exhaust from Dean A within the next few weeks and I was seeing if anyone has jet hot their exhaust.. My father had his headers and y pipe done on one of our third gen camaros. The thing is these exhaust are getting battered all day by water and road gremlins. The camaro does not get that kind of abuse.. the question would be does this finish hold up to that kind of application?

Yeah have done cerakote to some of my firearms, I was thinking of more heat control with ceramic coating

Cerakote really works! You can touch the pipe a few seconds after shut down. It let more heat out the tail pipe. Had it done on an aircooled Kawasaki Z1. Big diff.
Coating looks great but the more heat you keep inside the faster the glass burns out inside the can. Same goes for wrapping headers with exhaust wrap.
