What's up with tire pressure on these bikes. My owners book says 36 front 34 rear Sounds weird to me.
Why does that sound weird? It's about where I ended up after significant 'testing'.
Just like suspension settings, it's not an 'exact' answer for everyone, so use that recommendation as a good starting point.
MFG recommended tire pressure has to take widely varied loads and uses into consideration. Less load less speed will need less pressure, more load (like a passenger) or more speed will want more pressure. How does it feel leaned over? What type of surface are you riding on? Got bags on the back?
