Will a rear shock off a 1125 fit on a 1190? manly just the spring?

Why not just get the correct spring from EBR? Mounting is the same between them, the Showa race shock fits either one. Fairly sure the spring free length is the same between them, although I'd call to confirm from EBR.

Just trying to find a lighter spring for a friend that has a 2014 sx,

The 2014 (yellow) rear spring is 550lbs/in. The 2015 (red) rear spring is 475lbs/in.
