    Rox Risers

I called Rox Risers about riser that might fit an SX. They said that they have a set with an extended mount the might fit. Does anyone know if a 2" rise might require a brake hose/throttle cable changes. Not in the garage & not sure how much slack we have on the SX. Maybe some one has tried a riser kit of some type. Thanks.

Hoses and cables will NOT go 2" more. I raised my bars 3/4" and that was about the max for stock hoses/cables. Front brake hose was the tightest. I bought another handlebar clamp and inverted it to get the 3/4".

Where did you get the handlebar clamp? From EBR?

Here's pic of inverted clamp, have to do some minor grind/file to sit in saddle. Also the lowered footpegs help too.Name: GEDC0144.JPG

Thanks. I didn't want to allocate 10 minutes to do the job & then find out it needed more! I already did the foot pegs but I went with 2" drop. Bad knee. That small rise is all I really need. I've been riding it with the stock setup on bars & getting used to it but a little more height would be nice.
