    Cold engine Red light

I went for a good ride today up 168 in Fresno CA, I was riding about 1 hour made it up to Vista point it was 39 degrees, I stopped to turn back down the hill too cold for me but any way my cold engine light came on and stayed on the whole down the hill a good 5 mile decline, Finally the light went off when I started hit the power again , My question will this change any once I get my Race ECM installed.

Was 48 degrees here today, my cold engine light pretty much goes off after I let the engine warm up thoroughly after starting.. Sometimes on colder days it only goes off after opening the throttle a bit.

No, it will not. If it's below 40, mine have always come on unless I kept the engine in a lower gear to keep the engine rpms up higher. Even then, if it's 35 or lower, the light might stay on for miles. Anything below 30, it stays on all the time unless I'm sitting still for a few minutes.
