Do you have something hanging from the passenger seat down by the key lock?

It's a terrible pic. The garage lights make the bike look white. Its silver.
The 'strings' by the seat lock are actually the reflection on the panel corners.

It will get one of Dean's cans soon w/ the programmable ecm. And some different mirrors.

It really doesn't need anything else.

Me, on the other hand....I have been on XB's for the last 10 years. And have never had a water cooled bike.
I need to pick up a good 1125 service manual, and start reading. I ordered the USB manual, but have heard its lacking.

I started a light strip down on the bike, want to make sure it's all right before I start the break in.

I had replied to this earlier. It said something about needing a moderator approval. Didn't think I said anything to trip a filter. And for some reason, I can't upload any pix.
    Anyway:
I chopped the tail a little. I pondered matching the upper stalk to the light as one piece, but decided I liked the look of the flare line at the middle.
I also picked up a set of the Finish Tips from Brian, while in Houston. Those will wait until break in is complete.
Dean sent me the programmable ECM with a matching tune.
I have pretty much stripped and reassembled most of the bike , checking for loose / tweaked stuff. The exhaust definitely had some tension. Looked like the secondary had been pushed in and stressing the joints at the can and collector.

Edited: The string from the seat lock is actually the reflection of the light on the edge of the recess.

I put some Clubmans on the SX.
    WOW ! What a difference.
They fit like they were made for it.
Made the Dragon much more enjoyable.
    Cable routing was fairly easy.
And the mirrors are now in a position that make them useable and not so fugly.

Looks good with the tail chop and clubman's. I got a pair of Buell clubman bars for mine, but then went with drag bars instead to "split the difference" between them and the stock bars on the reach. Is that grey a paint job from EBR done on white plastics? The front fender and side trim needs a grey coat of paint now...
