It would seem all the RS bikes listed on Ebay have aluminum wheels.

That's what is holding me back.

I thought they came with magnesium wheels.

The number of them for sale at 1 time, with no takers on the Buy It Now prices would seem to cheapen the market.

I have been able to buy a REAR magnesium wheel with tire from EBR.

    No fronts available.

I'm still going to hold out for the flag theme. IF that pops up, I am going to get in a bidding war.

Seems you are correct. Makes you wonder whats up with the bikes on eBay.

I doubt that will happen, pretty sure those are long gone.

I'll ask tomorrow though, I'll be at the factory.

The mag wheels were pulled off of the built ones for racing efforts as there was only a limited supply. They substituted the aluminium ones.

The American Flag RS is (or at least was) privately owned in Texas.

The Australian Flag RS is privately owned in Australia.

The RS bikes available for sale from LAP are all carbon editions - some black, some red.

The fiberglass red/white/black RS is currently not available for sale.

This one, # 34, seems to be absent from the list above. If my intuition is right, it is/was also privately owned in Texas (along with the American Flag RS - which is #29 BTW...)

I almost mentioned the stainless steel bike (not sure if it has a more proper name - that's just what I call it). Apparently that owner also has/had a regular carbon black RS. That one I'm assuming for just for personal use and not a show piece like the other two. I got some basic info about the owner but haven't had a chance to reach out to him to update the status of the bikes. Hopefully they are all still with the same person and not scattered across the country in private collections hidden away.

(Thanks for the VINs on those two - I didn't have them in my list)
(Oh, and the carbon fiber Australian Flag bike is #28)
