    Idler sprocket

EBR purchase this sprocket for $194 excluding shipping.
On 1125 or XB there is a similar product G0600.07AH for $17.
Does anyone know - is identical parts?

Simple part to have made with similar materials on a lathe in your homeland, and far less expensive.

The answer is - it's different parts))) In the case of 1125 - it's a sprocket, in the case of 1190 - it's a roller.

    Agree.
But I'm afraid that idler sprocket have bearing inside... I did not remove - just looked at the outside of replacement chain and sprockets. It has damage on working surface.

Without idler the upper part of the chain will lay down on swingarm and grind it.
I also need to change chain slider... at least it cost $38...

In this bike very quickly ends consumables parts.

The idler is probably built very similar to the one used on Buell's XB belt drive bikes. If so, the bearings are standard commercial sealed ball bearings which are easy to find. They are held in place by a snap ring on each side, and can be easily replaced. Here is a link showing how to replace the bearings on an XB idler: http://www.twinmotorcycles.com/artik...?cid=7&aid=292

Hopefully this information will be helpful if you decide to have a new idler fabricated locally.

    Thanks.
In my opinion, idler roller is not so wide, as XB belt tensioner. It is exactly the width of 520 chain.
I can verify this in April. Now we have a winter off-season.

    As buell-fan said...make your own.
You'll just have to pick your own bearing.

Measure a stock idler. Measure the od of the bearing, measure the id and width of the bearing. I'll guarantee you it's an off the shelf bearing.

Buy a new bearing. Have a shop manufacture the "wheel" to fit the bearing and be close to the original outer dimensions of the stock wheel.

    Yesterday they removed idler sprocked.
Who can tell me the following information: on the new idler sprocket the metal part protrudes over the rubber sides or not? Has anybody pics of the new idler sprocket?

The bearing should have a number printed on it. It is the dimensions. That will let you source one easily through an industrial supply.
