    Adjustable footpegs

Dumb question but how do you adjust the footpeg height?

They are adjustable? Did I just spend $140 on Knight Design foot pegs for nothing??

Naw it doesn't look like it will be much. I have 1" Buell dropped pegs & it doesn't look like enough.

Oh, I see now. I ordered the 2" drop, I'll let you know how that works. I did a 1" drop on my current bike and it wasn't much so I figured air on the side of caution.

Apparently you can remove the actual peg from the fold-up mechanism, then you can mount it to any of several (5?) holes in the foot peg bracket to change the peg position.

Yeah let me know. I think that 2" are the best we can do. I have a bad knee.

Great pictures but I still don't understand how the stock footpegs can be lowered. There are no threads in the bracket on those 5 holes. Do I use a nut & bolt?

The stock footpeg mounting bracket, spring and peg assembly can not be moved as a unit. The assembly can be removed as a whole, and then the exposed holes can have a solid footpeg mounted through them. The Knight Designs footpegs have a built-in drop of either 1" or 2" depending on which set of pegs you buy, and they replace the hinged portion of the assembly along with the peg.
