I would love to figure out where EBR got this one from.

Fullmonte, they probably fabbed it as a one-off piece. It isn't difficult to do with that 'glass. The hard part is heating it properly so it doesn't form air bubbles, forming it to shape (without a mold), and cooling it to retain the shape.

It was custom made at EBR. Sadly, nothing came to market before production stopped, and even though they are selling parts still, I highly doubt they will release any new parts for current owners. It might be worthwhile for someone to reach out to a shop that deals with plexiglass (or similar) and see what it would cost to fab one up.

Here are a few other pics of that SX...

Sorry about the quality of the last pic - it's taken from a video.

Awesome. I think I'll be giving that a shot. I've had some limited success with forming plexiglass with a heatgun.

I'm curious how much it helps with the wind on the highway. seems that my head can only handle about 90-100mph, after that I can't focus on much because of the shaking. I guess this would help if trying to get into some type of tuck position, but ergos wouldn't be very comfortable for extended times.

let me know how it works out.
    Thanks

Yeah, I have found on my touring bikes you either need a tall windscreen because the upright rider position or minimal to no windscreen. If you get a bad height you get even more noise from wind buffeting your helmet, if you go too low you receive minimal wind relief because you can't comfortably tuck. The huge windscreens offer enough coverage for the upright position while directing wind above your helmet and not into it - They also look horrible on street fighters, but fit great on my BMW.

I had that issue too, but I discovered the problem was with the helmet causing the wind buffeting. I got a Schuberth SR1 race helmet designed for high speed, and wind tunnel tested. They can be found at a decent price on clearance now that the new models are out.
