    Lower footpegs

Look at the pictures of the BL. Near the end is a picture of the lower footpeg. Unless I'm wrong it is the Knights Design foot peg that can be ordered from Knights Design in one or two inch drop so I guess the controls can be adjusted enough to work with at least the 1" drop if not the 2" drop. time will tell.

It appears that EBR has contracted with Knights Designs to make the lowered foot pegs for the Black Lightning. They may be available only through EBR though, depending on how the two companies contracted the deal. The Knight's Buell 1125 pegs can be made to work on the EBR with a little modification; that is how the Black Lightning design got started by Erik.

There is a small rib on the EBR peg mount that splays the 1125 peg up a few degrees from the horizontal. The mod is to file approx 1/10 inch from the back of the peg where it hits that rib, filing carefully so one does not file too much. Note this mod does not interfere with putting that peg back on a 1125 bike.

I did this mod to the ASB dropped pegs from my 1125R to fit a 1190 SX.

Thanks. I have some original Buell dropped pegs that I had I my Moto Guzzi Griso. I'll see if I can find them.
