2012 1190RS carbon edition #26 for sale

Not only is the EBR 1190RS Carbon Edition rare but #26 has a colorful story to tell of embezzlement and lies of a lavish lifestyle. #26 was a show room model at Reno Powersports KC and it still maintains its original shine and luster and sits pretty with only 89 total odometer miles.

-Less than 100 1190RS bikes ever made (even less with the carbon edition (44))

LAP has them still and every one of theirs went for between 19k and 21k. Good luck selling a used repo auction bike for that price.

The RS's LAP was selling supposedly had their magnesium wheels swapped for aluminum wheels. The original mag wheels were needed to supply the WSBK race bikes. That alone might be $10k worth of difference.

Hugh, It is only with 10k to Hero during the races. Even to the very limited few individuals who would think about collecting these bikes it isn't worth that upcharge. These isn't any market for the bikes with that high of a price tag. These are stock EBR aluminium wheels on this RS, so this one was swapped out or built with aluminium too. It's worth maybe 19.5, and race it till the wheels fall off at the club level like Rob Weaver does. Anything more and you may as well buy two RX's and mod them up a little and race them.

You may disagree with what someone is asking for their stuff but it's poor form to mess up their for sale ad. IMO.
