Ordered Dean Adams with ECU for a 44 tooth sprocket this past weekend. Looking forward to getting the gearing down a little more - mostly ride around town so I rarely get into 5th or 6th gear. Thanks I appreciate the advice!
  2. basically what fixed it for me was just changing my driving habits. Keep the RPM above 4k, preferably 5k just to train the wrist when moving, basically get used to not getting into the higher gears depending on speed. but as far as the ECU goes yes it will help but if you dont mind a loud exhaust I would go for dean adams setup but if you want to keep quiet then stick with the tip and race ecu.

I bought a '14 red 1190 from Tropic Powersports 2 weeks ago. Having the same bogging issue as you but no stalling yet, unless I let the clutch out too quick which has happened a few times. It was their demo model left over with about 100 miles when bought. Just curious if the race ecu and exhaust helped the bogging and highway drivability? I will try with the TC off tomorrow to see if that helps. Thanks!
