I just ordered my tips/Ecu from dean , tail tidy from af1 .

Where can I get a Oberon clutch slave , resistor to denoid , and is there a good radar mount ?

1 last question , there is a lot of play in the throttle , is there a way to get rid of it ?

For the Oberon clutch slave you cot try Twin motorcycles or Solo Buell

For the ****ty trottle there is nothing you can do to take the slack out, that OE throttle a POS and the first thing I **** canned on my RX. I recomend the Motion pro REV2 Throttle, you will not be disappointed. Follow the link select 2014 scroll down to EBR then chose between the RX or SX.

This is the part number for the resistor plug Y0248.1AM same as the 1125, I took mine from my 1125 and put it on my RX. This vendor also has a resistor plug in stock.

There's plenty of adjustment for the throttle cables. Both ends have room to adjust.

What do you mean by "play in the throttle"? Slack between the throttle pull and throttle close cables can be tightened up with the slack adjusters on the individual cables. The stock throttle twist ratio is 1/5. If you don't like that then you can go to a faster 1/6 ratio with a Yammi throttle tube, or do the epoxy and zip tie wrap mod. The easier clutch slave piston and spring kit can be ordered through LAP to make the pull even easier.

Yes there is a bunch of play before the throttle engages, where are the adjusters ? Did a quick look didn't see any .

Is is the clutch kit ok from lap ? I have read that several people had slippage with the springs ?

Shouldn't the "race" ECM eliminate the need for the denoid resisitor?

The slack adjusters should be on each of the cables. I just used the actuator piston puck from the easy pull kit and kept the heaviest springs in there for positive engagement, but easier clutch pull; the best of both worlds.

I don't know if the race ecm would eliminate the fault code being thrown or not. The denoid resistor can be purchased direct from the manufacturer. Do a forum search "de-noid" for the resister part number and phone number.

There are adjustors in line on each cable. There is a rubber cover covering them. I had to adjust mine as there was a ton of slack when I received my bike.

Adjusted the slack in the throttle , dean Adams tips scheduled to be delivered on Friday , tail and spools coming today , I put in a request from lap for clutch slave ( waiting on a reply ) . I put a 100 miles on it the other day , changed the oil , now just need 500 more .
Any other must mods ? Can anyone recommend a mount for my radar dector ?

The only thing I still need it a radar mount , was thinking of mounting either on the stabilizer , or a fork tube mount .
Has anyone else done this , also does anyone know off hand what the diameter of the fork tubes and dampener are ?

I'm looking for a place to mount my Radar also.
On my XB12, I put Velcro on the bottom of Radar detector and top of front brake master cyl, works OK.
Not really enough surface area on the 1190 brake master for Velcro. Maybe, something with the detector bracket, that was for the suction cups to winshield?

Use this lifeproof bike and bar mount for the stabilizer. I used it for my phone. it's golden. comes with an adhesive magnetic plate for the back of your device. will lock into the holder with a lot of adjustment.

896897898That's nice! Thank's.

Best Buy also has one for an I-phone, on sale for $10 bucks, the clamp alone is worth that.
Figured I can adapt it to my Radar Detector.
It's not perfect, but works well. Got it in 3 days, not bad Best Buy!

Seen a few videos of these LifeProof/LifeActiv mounts shaking a bit. Can anyone confirm that they are stable? Before I order one.

Mine is stable enough to read while riding. Doesn't move around any, I got the mount snugged down tight.

Hi Tim
I actually have two 54's in silver and black here. There are only three
motorcycles that I know of that take that size- yours, KTM RC8R, and certain
BMW F bikes. Call me direct for that, we are on Eastern time.
