758757757757Ok dokie, fellow Ebr victim's,lol.my sprag clutch locked up and refused to disengage which prevented my bike from firing up after my valve adjustment. I knew it was on its way out,but decided to tackle one gigantic pita at a time. So I took care of the adjustment first. I also bought a Deans Adams exhaust, that of which I have not heard yet on my bike ,going on a couple of months,THE HORROR! Your bike will make some god awful noises if the sprag is locking up so don't freak out. From what I've heard this starting system can go at ANYTIME! its identical or very close to the 1125. I bought all necessary parts from af1 racing for around 600. Don't forget to get a new nut. I would strongly recommend that you get the service manual zip drive too. That manual has a pretty good user interface for part identification and the necessary loctite ,tourqe numbers etc, and videos for show and tell the sprag wear surfaces turned into a lovely metallic paste that thankfully was captured by the magnets on the rotor.waiting on the parts now,as I clean, and inspect and install all that I can. Hopefully by mid January I will be hearing that new exhaust foe the first time . BTW, my stock exhaust tab welds were broken on removal,so my stock one without welding is not usable.

PSA here, not all the parts are identical between an 1125 and 1190. The sprag clutch, sprag clutch housing, rotor nut and gasket are the same parts as an 1125. What does NOT match is the free wheel idler gear (1125 calls out for 53 teeth) or the other mating gear between the starter and that free wheel gear. I think it's slightly larger on the free wheel gear to reduce the amount of torque required to spin the motor over.

Side note for mine, this is what I'd originally thought the problem was when I bought the bike. The description of the problems was it wouldn't spin over fast enough to fire the bike up. After charging the battery (and then later changing the battery out AND the starter from my other 1190) it still wouldn't crank fast enough to fire up. I'm at the point now of waiting on the correct 1190 free wheel gear, it's supposed to be here in a few days.

Parts list of what I used.

HD-Y0536.1AM Price: $175.73 SPRAG CLUTCH

HD-Y0537.1AM Price: $99.24 CLUTCH HOUSING, SPRAG

HD-R0008.1AM Price: $12.95 GASKET

HD-CD0032.1AMA Price: $23.75 NUT, HEX, M24 X 1.5

EBR part, freewheel gear, 69T Y0539.1AY $141.90

This part does NOT fit, do NOT order it. HD-Y0539.1AMA (FREEWHEEL GEAR, 53 T ASSY) I am including this part number so that you don't waste the coin buying it to only find out later it won't work.

Yeah ,I've heard to not use buell parts so I didn't, even from my local HD dealer all parts would have been over 500 and the sprag gear wouldn't have worked. One thing I did find out is the outer race ,sprag and sprag gear are separate parts,Did you get all the parts? It sounds like you missed something. On my v rod its sold with the rotor assembly ,and gear is extra

The only 1125 part that doesn't work is the last one I listed. I have everything else and the parts were cheaper than buying from EBR. Several parts were $50-100 more expensive, so that's why I opted to go the route I did.

Total from af1 was 535, thats what I would have paid from my HD dealership including the sprag gear from af1
