Thanks in advance...

I just bought an RX and I have a question. Is ECM Calibration 035 the latest? If not... How does one go about flashing to the latest one?

I do believe so for stock. Race ecm is the only way to "update/upgrade" what's in it. $700 for the ecm and cable. The latest calibration for mine (short race exhaust) is #135.

So I assume PCM is a software like the old ECMSpy or does that just refer to TunerPro?? Is there a place to download it to check it out if it's not TunerPro? I assume it won't flash a programmable ECM without the license.

Anyone have comparative dyno charts for the available systems? I don't need numbers as I understand they're quite dependent on dyno/day/conditions/star alignment/price of tea in china among other things but I'd like to see the curves anyway.

Dean... Does your system fit inside the bellypan? Do you have any pics with the belly pan installed?

Thanks in advance :)

I hear the headers are maybe prone to cracking? Does anyone make replacement headers that are built better?

PCM is the software, requires a hardware key. IDSPD is the original company that's been doing Buell ecm's since they started with fuel injection.

Yes, the exhaust I make fits within the stock bellypan.

First one I could find was an early mock-up pic.

The exhaust fits, but you have to make sure you get the mid pipe all the way on.

I did a poor job on the initial installation and didn't realize how far you really have to push it on... When I checked fit, after a couple of miles, I noticed that it was slightly melted (not all the way through) and was able to get quite a bit more on...

The brackets that fit in on can be confusing at first, but Dean sent me some pictures that help me figure out how to install it.

Great exhaust..

My buddy just bought a black one, and he wanted me to try his out, stock vs DAD and PC5, to see a side by side comparison... The fuel management and throttle response is night and day compared to stock... I'm sure that going with the ECM vs the PC5 would be another upgrade, but I can't believe how much better the bike feels...

Highly recommended to at least go with the tips and ECM... He's about to order a set from Dean because the exhaust is too loud for him, but man does it feel great when you twist back the throttle...

You didn't go to the web site I furnished, or you would have noticed that for your money, you receive a new ECM, Take the seat off, swap ECM's, put the seat back on and go. No licence, no fuss, no muss. Just seven minutes of your time.
Though it is best if you remove the second muffler and put short tips in the main muffler. I believe Dean has those or you can do your own.

???

I did go to the website you linked. I did notice that I can buy an ECM flashed with a map for one of a number of different pipes.

I also had questions about the tunable ECM and the software used to do so... so I asked them.
