The article doesn't seem to say for sure, but I'm guessing Disalvo will move up to Superbike (where he belongs) and Dominguez will stay in Supersport.

I also love the idea that they'll be helping with engine development and traction control. If EBR can make even small gains in those two areas, they could be unstoppable!

Very cool how this is shaping up. My concern with a rumored May/Yates team is that they're both older riders and it would be nice to have at least some younger riders on the EBRs. Looks like this could let us have our cake and eat it too.

When discussing races, I guess we'll have to differentiate between the factory and non-factory EBR teams this year.

How cool is that?

Ultra cool! And I think May and Yates (I hope I'm not being presumptuous) can compete from Daytona on. There will probably be quite a bit of learning for the RS team, but once they sort things out, watch out!

very, very cool....

The rumors I'm seeing point to May and Yates on the Hero EBR bikes and Dustin Dominguez and Cory West on the RSRacecraft bikes. That all sounds too good to be true, so I'm going to try not to get too excited until we hear something official.

Geoff May on pit pass radio said about his team mate "the deal is done and the contract is signed and his name might rhyme with sharon gates"

Double-D, Yates and May... now that's a field for next year. Should be excellent racing!

I know Double-D's old man reasonably well from the club racing scene. They are excited about this next year, and I'm glad to see yet another CMRA rider get a feature spot in the AMA.

Now who will be RSR's 2nd rider?

Damn him and his vague teasing. That could be 1000 people.

If we were only going to have 2 riders, I'd want someone younger than Yates, but with 1 younger RS rider known and another rumored, I LOVE the idea of Yates.

He has the kind of aggressive riding style that can get the most out of the EBR.

Should be a fun year.:thumb:

So it looks like they're going to be black with red.

Can't wait for Daytona! It will be really cool to see what such a diverse set of riders can do. Since Daytona's such a high speed track, they'll probably all struggle a bit there, but the still TBA second round could be an additional Jersey round and that track should be perfect.

It's likely to be a huge learning year for the RS team, but it will be fun to see them progress.

Tonight on Pit Pass Radio-
Brayton, Wharton, Krick, West, Rispoli

Justin Brayton, 450 Supercross/Motocross - JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha
This past Saturday at Arlington inside the Cowboys Stadium Justin put in a very solid ride to finish fifth in the main. A fifth place marks his best finish so far this year as this season has been considered one of the toughest and it seems every rider has elevated their speed a bunch. He currently sits eighth in points. Last year Justin finished fourth in Supercross and seventh in Outdoors. www.justinbrayton.com (http://www.justinbrayton.com/)

Blake Wharton, 250 Supercross/Motocross - Rockstar Racing
The 250SX East season fired up last Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in
Arlington, Texas and Blake finished second. His qualifying times were solid
but his heat race didn't go well and he was forced to race the LCQ.
Fortunately he qualified and rode a smart race to place himself second in
points as the series heads to Atlanta, Georgia. Last year, Blake finished
third in the East Coast series and seventh in the Outdoors.

Dan Krick, Co-owner - Fusion Graphix
Fusion Graphix has offered custom dirt bike graphics since 2003. Dan,
himself, has been an avid racer and loves the contribution to the
motorcycle industry that Fusion Graphix has been making over the years. You
can see their work coast to coast in Supercross, Arenacross, GNCC, OMA
Nationals, as well as amateur motocross and offroad racer's machines all
over.

Cory West, AMA Pro SuperBike - RSRacecraft
West raced in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class for the past few seasons
earning a 10th overall in 2012 with eleven top-ten finishes. In 2011 he
placed 2nd in the Daytona 200 and also finished 2nd at Road Atlanta. In
2009 he was racing in the Superbike class and was the AMA SuperBike Rookie
of the Year. For 2013 he will be back in the SuperBike class with teammate
Dustin Dominguez riding the EBR1190RS.

James Rispoli, AMA Pro Daytona SportBike – Michael Jordan
Motorsports/National Guard/Celtic Racing Team
Rispoli has pulled off two consecutive AMA Pro SuperSport Championships,
in 2012 he won the AMA Pro West Championship and in 2011 he won the AMA Pro
SuperSport East. His 2012 season included four victories and nine top five
finishes. In a few weeks he will be making his debut in the AMA Pro Daytona

Good interview! Nothing ground-shaking, but it was interesting that he mentioned they'd be running a different electronics system than the Hero/EBR team.

I liked his attitude. Sounds like he's swinging for the fences. I'm a little afraid reality will sink in fairly quickly when he realizes he's racing against guys who have been with the same bike and team for the past several years. It's got to be a HUGE advantage to be able to pull the bike off the truck with a nearly ideal set-up for that particular bike already in mind, and Cory and RS will have a lot of learning to do. But it's cool to hear that he doesn't sound intimidated and he's ready to put it all out there.
