By "tag" I assume you mean license plate ?
You can do what a couple of us have, shorten the "stalk" that the light and plate are attached to. A hack saw, a file and a bunch of JB Weld epoxy. Makes the back of the bike look much better, and it's cheap..!
I shortened mine to the point that there is almost no stalk left. The light is almost touching the underside of the tail. Had a little difficulty tightening the side fasteners because the light housing was in the way, but it's tight.

Ha ha ha, $120 that gouging at its best. I got mine for $45 and it is the exact same one.

Where did you get it? I was thinking of getting the Powerbronze as it is $80.

Funny thing is I think I got it from Af1 but I doubt they would raise the price on it that much so it must have been somewhere else. Perhaps Tropic Powersports out of Florida.

Made one by cutting down the stalk. ran fasteners through the under tail and through a metal plate that's right under the pass seat lock. Trimmed the "excess" off of the plate holder, removed the reflector directly below the tail light and drilled new holes for the tag. Probably going to change the signals, as I did this little project spur of the moment and used what I had in the garage. I'm thinking I will take another half inch off of the stalk as well to snug it up. When I do finalize it, I'll lay a bead of Loctite gasket maker around the top of the stalk to seal it up. 100% home made from parts in the garage. It only cost me a 12 pack of Corona.

Nice work Q.
I had thought about that when I shortened the stalk on mine but wimped-out and just put it back in the stock location.
