I haven't found a clear answer to the EBR thumb drive maintenance manual not working, but it seems that mine doesn't have anything on it at all. Empty, with no gigs used. Searching on the forum only found spotty info and a bad link to it. Can someone share a link, that works, to the content of the manual or explain how to download a copy to my computer. Not being able to read this info has me in the dark as far as how I am supposed to break in the engine, what fuel grade, oil, etc. Thanks.

Who did you buy it from? I'd ask them for a new copy, send that one back as defective.

Thanks for the help Dean and Crispy, after checking the drive on another computer, and finding it was good, I had to make my computer to recognise that there were files on it to open the manual.

I had similar problem. Mine says I need to format it for the computer to read it. But when I go to format it it says all data will be erased if I do so. Was this your problem as well? Thanks.

If any of you just need an owner's manual, you can still download them at https://www.erikbuellracing.com (note the "https"; the http site is dead):

Depending on your browser you may get some kind of certificate error and a warning against visiting the site; I think that just means EBR hasn't renewed their security certificate. Most of the site works fine. You can still download owner's manuals, wallpaper, etc.

When I initially tried to open it the one computer said there wasnt anything on it to open and a bunch of free gigs on it. Then I put it in another computer and it showed the manual file, and it opened there. So I put it back into the other computer and opened it up through the computer system file.
