Buy a new set of gears and modify what you bought to be able to be adjusted. Just a bit of shop time..!

The RX and SX have adjustable sprockets.
Are you looking to buy more of them?

Only the intake came is adjustable. Want to be able to adjust both cams.

I think you should pull a valve cover off and trust me on this one.

I have seen the parts break down and it appears that only the chain driven outer sprocket on the intake is adjustable. Is there something else that I am missing?

I know what the parts book says.
You will be pleasantly surprised by what is actually in there.

The parts information being incorrect scares me as some of the dealers I've dealt with have been as bad, if not worse, that Buell dealers. If I can't provide a part number that I know is accurate to get what I want, then who knows what I will end up with.

To bring this back on topic, the following is close but not quite close enough - unless you can see/make out more than I can:

Does anyone know the cam timing specs?

Snack toast.....so you are saying that both cams have adjustable sprockets? Only the intake cam is chain driven, how is the exhaust cam adjustable?

The exhaust sprocket is a different design sprocket than the intake with 3 button head screws on it that lock it in place allowing the outer portion to be rotated independent of the center to set your exhaust cam timing.

I thought it was the intake cam that was adjustable

Redstang, any idea of the number of teeth on the adjustable sprocket and the gears on each cam?

Now if you tell me it came from the factory like that, it would make my day!

Guys, remember when I posted on August 20th that the RX/SX has adjustable sprockets?
Yeah, I wasn't kidding.

One more time for those of you that are having trouble with this...

The intake and exhaust cams BOTH have adjustable sprockets.

Yes it came factory like that, inspection marks and all. Snacktoast is correct, both cam gears are adjustable. I have no idea how many teeth are on either gear.
