Replaced the stock rear brake pads on EBC FA460HH. As a result, during braking, they very much scrape. Noise level of scraping such that I hear them in turn to cut-off the second gear (this is about 145-150 km/h). Rear brake disc turned blue.
Today dismantled rear caliper - they all right ...
What could cause such a scrape?

A misalignment maybe...?

There are two main causes of scraping sounds. The first one could be a foreign body, invariably from the road surface, that has become lodged between the pad and the rotor. The other could be the wear indicator, which might be rubbing against the brake rotor.

Foreign objects there, this pads do not have wear indicators.

Some how some people find it extremely easy to incorrectly install the rear brake pads. Make sure the are fully seated on the springs and piston. Second, make sure you don't knock one off the piston mount when installing the rear wheel.

We install pads correctly. Most lWe install pads correctly. Most likely the case as compaund of the brake pads.
We'll have to go and scrape...

By the way - they just scrape only under low pressure.
