Can anyone confirm this for sure? I'd sure like to be able to buy some cheap CRG knockoffs, I really dont care for the feel of factory levers.

I am using ASV ZX14 levers on my EBR .. they fit fine .. make sure you replace the plunger which is included in the ASV kit .. if you use the factory one it could lock up the front brake. I first bought a Chinese Knockoff set .. and they didn't fit as nice as the ASV lever for some reason. Probably because ASV included replacement hardware and the Chinese ones did not.

Any new info on getting replacement levers? I can't locate the expensive ASV levers and a check on one of theZX14 Imported CRG/Pazzo types don't fit.
Thanks guys

I installed a ZX14 clutch lever, and it worked well. I am not replacing the brake lever, because I will be putting a Brembo MC on, and it'll come with it's own lever.

What year ZX? I looked at some nice looking, folding imported levers and they don't work.

Mine was a CRG lever from an 06-08 ZX14.

Since you guys are messing with your controls and all, I wasn't able to tell for sure, but, is the left hand grip glued onto the bar or is that side an assembly slid over the bars like the throttle side?

So to be sure, the 06 to 08 zx 14 levers fit the 1190? I bought the one's to 14 and the clutch did but the brake did not

If you guys are looking for the ASV levers, we are a dealer and can get them for you (assuming hey're in stock at ASV). The have a listing for the EBR so there's not guesswork on the cross-referencing. We've sold a few sets to EBR owners with great results.

They're currently not on our site due to ongoing availability problems, but if you're interested, contact us directly and we'll handle it on a case-by-case basis for you.

There are 2 versions that will fit your bikes:

F3 - Forged, short or standard, $162/set shipped CONUS

c/5 - CNC Machined, short or standard, $225/set shipped CONUS

Let us know if we can help!

5-0dro
http://www.5-0dro.com

Hello from Germany! I use on my 2014 EBR RX the ABM-levers, Type "SYNTO EVO" for
Brake: Kawasaki ZX6R 2005, SYNTO TYPE BH21-19/15
and
Clutch: Kawasaki 1400 GTR 2007, SYNTO TYPE KH43-19/15.
They look great, give a perfect handling, fit fine and you get all fitting-adapters and fitting instructions with the levers.
Look here: http://www.ab-m.de
(http://www.ab-m.de)
On my other Buells S3, XB9R and 1125R i use the levers from Pazzo-Racing.

And one Tip: Use the clutch slave cylinder kit from oberon and your left Hand will say thank´s to you after every ride. See here:http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk.
Which you all a perfect ride

The ZX636 plunger insert is used on the EBRs..
What do you mean by "plunger insert"? The actual master cylinder piston? The ZX-14 levers come complete.

The ASV brake lever comes with 2-3 different pieces that hit the brake light switch and the one labeled ZX636 is the one used on the EBR.

Terry, thanks for the link, I wasn't sure if all these worked, or if there were known fitment issues, especially for the brake lever.

Just a heads up from one of the aftermarket ones I bought.

Didn't come with any different plunger barrels, was just an aftermarket replacement. Wasn't quite right as when installed the brake was always activated. Pulled it off and returned it.

The ASV levers are probably better quality and correct fit.

A lot of the ebay levers will require a file or Dremel to get them to fit just right. That is why they are so cheap.

I ended up ordering these. I will update once received/installed. If anything, I'm close to Detroit, there are plenty of Zx14 guys here that somehow always need cheap levers..

I'd stick with the ASV. I have them & they are an exact fit. I'd go with them because they offer the correct barrel for each model. As with ebay you get what you pay for on this part.

I have learned the hard way , Ya get what ya pay for . Just make sure on the brake once released it releases all the way.
