Anyone know who the vendor is for the 1190RX mirrors? I've had both of the round plugs in the pivot arms disappear while riding.

Same thing happened to me within the first 2 days of having the bike. I still have one. I was thinking about 3d scanning it then 3d printing a new one.

Sounds like owners may want to apply some sort of adhesive.

If you do I'd gladly buy some from you. The little silver dots showing are kind of annoying. Buying whole mirrors just for two little plastic plugs is out of the question. I suppose I could make some, just too lazy I guess.

Can anyone show a picture of the offending part? Looking to pick up a RX within the week. Maybe something I can do for preventive maintenance?

A little dab of silicone to give it a bit more grip? If the plugs are similar to plugs for things like chairs they are mostly hollow. Perhaps gluing a little magnet in each to make them hold onto the screws?

I believe the EBR uses the same mirrors as the 2014 Yamaha r1.

workman482, It is the little round plastic cover that goes over the hinge of the mirror at the base. When it is off you can see the metal to the hinge, and looks kind of bad, especially with only one missing. I thought about coloring the metal with a black permanent marker until I can buy or make a new one.
