How to adjust throttle free play

Where do you adjust the throttle free play/slack and tighten it up?
Is there a quick adjuster? I have a lot of free play in mine.
I really noticedd as I just did the denoid. It's a little less than ⅛ turn free play.

If you have not yet, do the zip tie thing and denoid it.

There is a quick adjust for throttle play right off the handle bars on the throttle cable. Pull the 2 rubber pieces apart and adjust quickly with an 8mm wrench and a pair of pliers. I did the denoid and zip tied the solenoid cable up out of the way, but I didn't ziptie that throttle body butterfly piece like you did. What's that for?

It over rides the return spring and puts you in full control of both throttles.

Is this something I need to do? Is it a safety thing or just preference? I was going to take a ride tomorrow (70 and sunny), maybe I should hold off on riding and instead do this first.
