When are heavy clutch springs needed? Do different years have different springs? Where do I buy them at? I have a 2014 feels likes it’s lacking power in 5 and 6. Is this the correct heavy spring part number CG0020.1B7 Rev A?

When are heavy clutch springs needed? Often when one increases HP race springs are used to grip the extra HP.

Do different years have different springs? A 14 has the stiffer springs, but not Race springs.

Where do I buy them at? I bought Buell 1125 Daytona Race springs, some use Barnett Race springs.

I have a 2014 feels likes it’s lacking power in 5 and 6. Lacking or possible a slippy clutch ? Stock gearing some time eats a clutch in the city stop and goings.

Is this the correct heavy spring part number CG0020.1B7 Rev A?,

I am using Barnett 303-30-20125 it is thicker was hard to find neutral ,put in two old plates works great .After 2K miles replaced running all Barnett plates.Kit has 9 CARBON Fiber Friction Plates, and 10 Tempered steel plates and HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH SPRINGS, I Didnt use there springs.I used the 1125 race springs and a Oberon slave for a easy pull.

I can’t seem to find the heavy duty clutch springs. Where can I order them at? Any part numbers?

You dont want heavy duty you want Race 1125 springs.

Higher rate clutch springs for additional clamp load. Used by the championship winning Daytona Sportbike team in 2009. An excellent upgrade when using a stock clutch with power adders.

I'll put some in next time I'm racing Daytona:) But as long as there are stoplights during my ride, the stock springs will do. I feel they should handle a 5%-ish HP increase and if my clutch starts to slip, I'll get a new clutch. IMO. But if I start smoking clutches every 5000 miles? I'll order some up.

BTW, you are SOOOO right about the Oberon slave:burnout:
