Ok here we go. I have a 2015 1190SX.
Put a new battery in Saturday night. Took bike for a ride. Ran good. Next morn I pulled it out of the garage. Turned the key on to check trip one for how many miles till I needed gas. Good only had 41 miles on it. Turned it off & put my gear on. Came back outside & turned the key to find a dead dash & no turn signals!! Bike started & ran fine. All other lights worked as well as the horn.
Dash was 1/2 black & 1/2 a dull muted green. After a ride it turned all black. Put on about 100 miles & it stayed the same but otherwise ran fine.
Visually checked all the fuses. Looked good. Shook the dash pulled a few things to no avail.
Any ideas. From what I checked it seems to be the dash.

Did you check your dash contention ? Sounds like it not plugged in .

I'm about to do that but the headlite cowl has to be removed. I'll get to it next. It's just weird that the bike wasn't moved between the 2 key on tries. Thanks

FYI, The headlight module is really easy to remove. Take off the trim (2 allens), the black plastic sides (4 allens), and 4 bolts for the headlight.

Thanks Cooter. I've done it a few times before. Just a little busy with a new bike: 2015 Norton Commando 961 SE with 552 miles! Getting to know it.
