Hey all, I just got back from a weekend at the dragon, and had some complaints from the guys running behind me that my bike was running rich (fuel smell).
Dash didnt show anything out of ordinary.

2015 SX #55 @3500miles.
IDS programmable ECM w/ Finisher tips with the correct tune & Denoided.
Air filter is clean and dry, plugs didnt look bad, it starts fine cold, usually needs a second longer to hot start.
Averaging about 25-30 mpg.
Did a couple TPS reset over the weekend, with no change.

I havent noticed any performance issues.
It has power for days and kept up with the new super duke.

Is there something i'm missing ? Any ideas ?

Hard to say without and O2 data. The MPG is pretty low at 25mpg though. Is that a guess? The figure shouldn't vary that much/ How many miles typically before you fill up? With how much fuel?

If the plugs look good, who knows? Any ideas from us is totally guessing....

I reset my trip A at every fuel stop which resets avg fuel.
I'm about 3.5 gallons for every hundred miles.
I don't keep the thing wound up but don't dog it either.
I ride with a bunch of guys way faster and smarter than me.
When they suggest something may be wrong, I listen.
Unless of course, it's 'sell the Buells and get real bikes'..

I have not been able to find any info on data logging the ebr besides hooking up wide bands and watching gauges.
Is it even possible ? I ran the PCM software once just to push the tune, and have the prezi link, but it doesn't say anything about logging.

I am running a Dean tune and a APH pipe and I have been told by the guy behind me that his eyes were watery from my fumes, Deans tune does pump a lot of fuel into the engine, Bike runs scary fast !

I'm also running an APH pipe and APH tune. Never got that complaint though! I average 34Mpg and typically use the EBR pretty hard (no commuting). But the guys I ride with are faster than me as well:301: so no ones behind me to complain. I'm working on it! lol...

i.e. One guy is on a Bimmer GS1200 with the bottom front of the panniers ground down so bad he had to modify and mount them higher, and he's on 70/30 knobbies:twitch:

30-35 mpg is normal with my calibration. 25 is very low and sounds rich for the EBR tips cal. I run mine hard enough that I'd start looking for the reason behind the excess fuel consumption on yours. 3.3 gallons on fill-up at 100 miles.

i may have to just pony up and get your exhaust Dean. Any plans on an RT-4 for the EBR ?
Maybe the sensory overload will stop the guys from smelling the fuel.

No plans for one at this time. Too much risk of damage from the chain, I've seen the belt move around enough on an 1125 and touch one. I already know the chains stretch enough on the 1190 if not watched and adjusted closely. It would get chewed up in very short order.
